this week 4.24.22

and here we go! this week was actually insane as we got ready to leave for california. packing, organizing the house, snuggling the babies before we left, and as many walks as humanly possible.

while work was busy, i got a ton done to get ready for spain and reaped the benefits of a massive blind tasting of chateauneuf du papes.

that said, we made it to california and get to check out, lay low, and enjoy some sunshine for a bit. maya and coco are staying with my family and it was both so hard to leave and so amazing to see her little face get so excited. she’s figuring out crawling and i’m sure will basically be a teenager by the time we’re home.

i’m already obsessed with southern california - the colors, smells and sounds at this resort are divine. more to come later but for the rest of the week, i’ll be checked out by the pool seeing how many books i get through.
