this week
this time of year always feels magical to me. i love how quickly everything feels cozy and glowy. the twinkle lights come out, cozy candles are selected, winter pjs and slippers.
i love creating that magic in the house, leaning into the holidays, feeling grateful for my little family, but also taking every second i can to soak in the season with my children. this year in particular, whether its working in retail and thinking about holiday for months, or just feeling the season calling early, i was ready.
the kids were home last monday, and we took the time to think about the holidays, set up our tree, and slowly start to decorate. i love the feeling of joy, and sharing that magic with my children. i realize i’m early, but honestly this year, i just don’t mind.
