this week
honestly, i can’t even believe how fast last week and this weekend were.
last week felt like the holidays really picked up. between a cookie exchange at work, some chillier weather, and festive events through the weekend for our family, it is certainly beginning to feel a lot like christmas.
maya is living for christmas lights, any color, any amount, and in any form. we took the kids to brookside gardens thursday, and maya was in absolute heaven. wade’s family came in town this weekend, and we had a full christmas day on saturday, visiting santa, opening presents, and enjoying a cozy, quiet dinner.
this upcoming week, i have a supplier dinner, wade has a holiday party, and we’re so excited for holiday festivities with friends all of next weekend. i have a ton of christmas shopping to finally finish, for the kids and friends. a few things i’m eyeing are in my links.
i finally finished tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, and i’m so so sad it’s done. i absolutely loved this book, savoring every minute of reading. it would not surprise me if i re-read this one.
