this week
hi! another weekend in the books, and i can appropriately say my family is living for the holidays. we love a good excuse for a cookie, and we all are incredibly content snuggling into the blankets on the couch.
thanksgiving week was the best, and went by seemingly so fast. we stayed home this year, and enjoyed champagne, watching football, and chicken pot pie. the rest of the weekend we spent organizing the house, decorating for christmas, and spending time with some friends.
last week, i popped into dc for dinner with a friend and got to finally peruse manse in georgetown, which felt so good for my soul. georgetown at the holidays makes me so happy, with the adorable houses, brick roads, wreaths on the lamp posts, and being right on the river.
after a weekend full of adventures antiquing, bopping around the neighborhood, and celebrating friends birthdays, we’re excited for a week with a holiday adventure or two sprinkled in.
