this week

i’d love to still be snuggling on the couch with my coffee, but it is monday…

another absolutely gorgeous late summer weekend. we’ve had a lot going on recently, and have been using any opportunity we can to quietly ground our family, soak in time together, and find joy with our sweet babies.

after a pedicure with a couple of good friends, i did in fact avoid buying everything at home goods, but walked away with a couple of perfect halloween decorations for maya and brendan’s room, a great candle, and this tray i’m already obsessing over. they go perfectly with my new throw pillows from target. i’m really leaning very moody in our living space right now, and i’m loving it.

we’re so excited to travel up to lake placid this week, visit with friends and family along the way. lake placid is one of our favorite places, and the chance to visit with family is an opportunity we’d never miss.
