this week
good morning good morning! it has been a busy few weeks. after our trip to the lake, we’ve been focusing on our family, going through some things with our family, and finding joy in the small moments.
fall is my favorite time of year. there is something so magical to me about the way the sunlight threads through the leaves, and changes every day with the colors of the leaves changing. the first crisp bite in the air always brings me joy, and the perfect excuse to dig out my favorite sweaters, slippers, and socks.
after hosting my parents and spending time in new jersey with wade’s family, we focused on a quiet week and weekend home. as usual, we popped into the farmers market for our weekly empanadas and popsicles, and stocked up on apples and a few extra pumpkins. .
i also felt very ambitious, and went through all of our kitchen cabinets, closets, and the kids clothes. it felt so good to go through and organize, and clear out space all over the house. even with the organizing, my little hurricanes still managed to find every hidden toy in every nook of the house.
