hi hi hi! i hope you had an amazing week, and weekend. it has been a whirlwind of a summer, as i mentioned, but i’m so happy to be back at it.
this week finally felt like a new normal. both babes were back at school all week, we had no travel plans this weekend, a few plans with friends and lots of laying low. it was a dream.
lately we’ve loving our to the farmer’s market, especially for empanadas and iced coffee. any fruit we take home is an added bonus for maya. it’s so cute to see maya try new flavors; i’m so happy she’s starting to love food as much as we do.
we’re living for a slower pace on the weekend. our goals have been grilling, date nights on the patio, and long walks around our neighborhood.
maya is such a fun age; this weekend we practiced saying happy birthday, and we’re so excited for our families to come visit and celebrate her. two year old maya is going to be such a force. brendan is the happiest little guy, full of big belly laughs, and the sweetest smile. he keeps the best smiles saved for maya and its is completely heart melting.
i’m chomping at the bit to organize more around the house, especially for the end of summer. i’m craving it but also really excited and kind of wanting to freshen up around the house, which is always a fun project.
things i loved lately:
running regularly again
salmon tacos
mornings with coco
oversized shirts
european white wines
maya’s laugh
hydrangeas everywhere
pizza fridays
fresh berries
chocolate chip cookies
