this kind of felt like a mommy and maya week, which was great timing since we’re so quickly approaching baby boy’s arrival.
with spring quickly inching up on us, and the weather giving us every reason to keep looking forward to it, we took full advantage. since daycare was closed monday, maya and i went had a girls morning with friends, enjoying a picturesque brunch and of course a trip to the playground.
we also had a girls night, on the warmest nights of the week, going for a long walk with coco, came home and made an easy dinner, and snuggled up to read as many books as possible before bedtime. with as many words as she is so quickly picking up, our bedtime routine is becoming such a snuggly favorite time of my day.
this week otherwise was a bit busy, in that both wade and i were all over the place. i was so happy to have book club, and have some good girl time, outside of being a mom. i swear to god that it made me feel human again. we felt so happy to hit friday, with no weekend plans except prioritizing munchkins, croissants and lattes on the couch.
we’re trying to stay productive during nap time, so wade and i have been doing as much as we can around the house, clearing out the things we don't need, organizing maya’s and baby things, cooking and cleaning, snuggling coco, and binging drive to survive.
