this week

good morning! happy monday!

what a spring! somehow it is already may, which feels completely insane to me.

this past weekend, wade and i got away to celebrate our anniversary. we went over to the eastern shore of maryland, to this incredible hotel in st. michaels, the wildest. it was a washout of a weekend, but we soaked in the time away together, going to bed early, waking without an alarm, watching harry potter, and eating delicious food.

my parents stayed with the kids and it was so sweet to see how much my kids love a weekend with my parents. a washout for them also, so i think we’re all ready for the sun to come back out.

looking at the week, the forecast is going to be warm, at least. i’ve been so happy running in the mornings again, a bit of bite in the air, but not frigid. we’re planning to keep it simple and grill, enjoy the playground and the weather.

anyways, some of my favorites right now, thinking about spring.
