friday favorites
friday friday friday! after a whirlwind of a week, i am so happy it’s friday. we have virtually zero plans this weekend, outside of football being back. our family is ready for pizza friday, watching the us open, and the farmer’s market this weekend.
it’s been a WHILE; life has been something this summer. i’m happy to get back into it, but here are some of my favorite things all summer and this week.
oomphed up lattes:
i love love love a latte. i take them in all shapes and forms, but as the weather has started to cool down and i’m back to a hot latte, i’m enjoying playing around with the recipe. lately, i’m living for this:
double shot of espresso
almond milk
coconut collagen creamer
sprinkle of cinnamon
morning walks and audiobooks:
for the past couple of years, i’ve loved waking up and walking with coco. the summer feels so dc with the humidity and gorgeous sunrises, but we’re coming into fall and later sunrises with the bite in the air and i’m loving it. it’s also my favorite time to really listen to audiobooks, and get lost in a great story. i feel like i recently have been on such a good tear of books, and it’s made my morning quiet time feel so good. recent read listens:

biker shorts:
okay, i’ve finally caved. i definitely went back and forth on the biker short look for a couple of years. probably because i also had two babies within those years. this summer really pushed me into it, and i love how comfortable i have been when i wear them, but also having fun styling them. favorites have been: lululemon, clare v oversized shirts, the great sweatshirts (header photo)
transitional fall pieces:
i may be stalking the weather to see if we’re going to have that bite in the air and if fall transitional pieces are appropriate. i have given it a resounding yes, yes they are and loving the start to fall with warmer toned shoes, and playing with light sweaters again.
