this week
morning! happy monday!
i’m not sure about you, but i am excited for a fresh week, and everything that is about to come with it. we spent the past two weekends celebrating our sweet little boy’s birthday with family and friends. his birthday is this upcoming week and i’m full of all of the emotions. that also means i’m essentially throwing him three birthday parties because i can’t stop celebrating my little bundle of joy.
it is probably one of the biggest times of the year for our family, me in particular. i am getting ready to head off to barcelona, and travel throughout spain for work, before attending a trade show in germany. i am equal parts thrilled, excited, anxious, and terrified.
this is my first extended work trip away from my kids, and it is both surreal and exciting, and a bit unnerving to look at over ten days away from them. despite that, i absolutely love visiting spain, tasting the wine, and eating every delicious meal the country has to offer.
that said, prepping for the time away, solely for shopping and needs in that regard, has been fun, to say the least. channeling a lot of my nerves into the things that make me happy and confident.
