the monday edit

happy monday! last week was a big one at work, a few presentations and plenty of other to-dos, but it felt good to get in a groove and get a lot done.

i also was really into all of the meals we planned; everything felt so delicious and cozy, but also was relatively quick to make and delicious. my main favorite being braised chicken and olives (mia rigden).

we had no plan this weekend, and spent the entire weekend putzing around, enjoying the warm weather, and spending as much time as we could outside. we’re getting very into picnics, and it feels like such a good excuse to stay outside a little bit longer.

all of the cherry blossoms are peaking, and our neighborhood feels like a spring dream. i’m so excited for not freezing on my morning walks, enjoying the bright florals all over the neighborhood, and getting dressed for spring.

the let them theory (men robbins) - finished this weekend, and even debating when to re-read it.
i finished if something happens to me (alex finlay) this week and i really enjoyed it.
i started olga dies dreaming (xochitl gonzalez) this week, and i’m loving it. the characters are so good.
and i finally started maame (jessica george) this week.
the stationary shop (marjan kamali) is next on my list.
