happy monday! last week was a big one at work, a few presentations and plenty of other to-dos, but it felt good to get in a groove and get a lot done.
welcome to my creative and happy space. i hope you love it all!

another monday! here we go. i know it’s predictable at this point, but another WILD week on board here. i have a couple of big presentations at work this week, but it should be a really good week. the weather feels springy, the sun it out late, and we have a quiet weekend to look forward to.
happy monday! this week felt completely crazy. i felt like we hit the ground running on monday morning and it never really let up. work was a roller coaster this week, we spent a most of the week trying to get organized, and my parents visited this weekend.
happy monday! we were in new jersey this past weekend visiting our family and spending another weekend celebrating brendan. it had been too long (before christmas) since we’ve been up to new jersey, and we got to do all the best things. it was a family weekend, full of pizza, bagels and carvel ice cream.
happy monday! what a week and weekend. brendan’s birthday was saturday, and we spent the whole week getting excited for it, planning how to celebrate, and organizing for his birthday party this weekend.
happy monday! i finally feel like i’m getting my life together after my trip, the exhaustion hit every part of my body, but my bed has felt like a dream. our family has been completely hibernating, enjoying the chance to just lay low at home, snuggle on the couch (and stay warm), and to plan our little guy’s birthday party next weekend.
happy friday and happy new year! it seems a bit razy that the holidays have come and gone, but there is something special about those first few days of january and a fresh start.
maya was so into christmas this year, and the magic was not lost on her. she loved writing a note to santa, and preparing his plate of cookies and reindeer treats (carrots and muddy buddies, of course).
happy friday! in the midst of christmas week, and keeping as much of the magic going. we typically stay home for christmas, and visit family on other weekends around the holidays to celebrate. that means our christmas itself is at home, the five of us, snuggling in pjs and eating our favorite foods.

happy friday! another week, and inching rapidly closer to christmas. wade and i cannot believe how fast the end of the year has gone. i feel like halloween was yesterday, and yet somehow i’m finalizing christmas lists, planning cozy meals, and putting the finishing touches on our family holiday magic.
it has been a minute, but friday favorites was really exciting to me. i love the magic of the holidays, planning holiday adventures for my children, and cozying up on the couch to watch holiday movies after bedtime.
this week was crazy; i had numerous work events and meetings, which made the week fly by. it’s also gotten so cold, it absolutely feels like winter.
this week’s friday favorites feel like a little bit of all of what i needed this week; holiday magic, decompressing, and welcoming the cold.
i love creating that magic in the house, leaning into the holidays, feeling grateful for my little family, but also taking every second i can to soak in the season with my children. this year in particular, whether its working in retail and thinking about holiday for months, or just feeling the season calling early, i was ready.
whether its the chaos all over the place, or just life, i’m craving quiet. carving out some time for myself, to take care of myself and my family. that said, i’m feeling the holiday energy early this year, nestling into a cozy end of fall and start to winter. it’s harry potter season, cozy candles, favorite sweats, dreamy sweaters, and comfort movies.
fall is my favorite time of year. there is something so magical to me about the way the sunlight threads through the leaves, and changes every day with the colors of the leaves changing. the first crisp bite in the air always brings me joy, and the perfect excuse to dig out my favorite sweaters, slippers, and socks.
as fall creeps in and we transition to cooler temps, i love the formula of perfect sweater, great denim, and a ballet flat.
since we got home, the weather has been super moody, with misty and rainy mornings, and gray evenings. it feels quite spooky, despite hardly being october yet. i’m looking forward to that crisp and bright fall sunshine to really make the season pop.
we’re so excited to travel up to lake placid this week, visit with friends and family along the way. lake placid is one of our favorite places, and the chance to visit with family is an opportunity we’d never miss.
friday friday friday! after a whirlwind of a week, i am so happy it’s friday. we have virtually zero plans this weekend, outside of football being back. our family is ready for pizza friday, watching the us open, and the farmer’s market this weekend.
i took a lot of time away this summer to fully soak up the summer, focusing on the kids and work and i’m still in shock how quickly not only that it’s september, but also that this summer has basically come and gone.
